Police identified a dead suspect in a deadly sniper attack during an anti-police brutality march in Dallas and named the suspect as Micah X. Johnson. He was killed when robot detonated bomb near him, while he was hiding in garage near shooting place. He was claimed to be US Army Veteran

The shootings killed five police officers, wounded six others. Two civilians were also wounded in the attacks. Suspect said, he was acting alone and was not related to any group.

Police have not found any links between the suspects and international terrorist groups, but investigators said one suspect claimed a racial motive in the shootings.

“He was upset about Black Lives Matter (and) he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers,” said Dallas Police Chief David Brown
