Andre Ferdinand Fossum ( * 22.08.1899 - † 16.01.1986) Norwegian chess composer and International Master of the FIDE for chess composition
Andre Fossum was one of the greatest non-Czech chess composer specialists in the world for Bohemian problems. He composed almost 200 Bohemian threemovers.
He commented his own problems in "Sjakkoppgaver og studier" (1975).
He also composed chess studies. One of his endgame studies is commented in Norwegian by Jarl H. Ulrichsen in his article published in Sjakkhuset [broken link]: "NORSK STUDIEKAVALKADE 1" (pg. 10-11).
