He was an architect and lived in Budapest.

 

His first composition was published in 1954,

In the same year he achieved his first competition success. Number of published studies: 66. Of the 57 works participating in the competition, 52 received awards. His works received 39 prizes, including 18 first prizes, 10 commendations and 3 recognitions.

There are 9 of his studies in the FIDE albums. He is a ten-time academic champion and perennial champion and one-time II finished in place.

 

In addition to his studies, he also occasionally wrote multi-stage checkmate puzzles.

 

He was a judge four times at the international academic competitions of Hungarian chess. He has written several specialist articles.

He was a successful member of the chess team and the puzzle department of Tipográfia TE for many years and from 1976 he headed the puzzle department.

He claimed to be a student of Jenő Bán. Due to both his competition results and the quality of his work, he represented an international class.The chess author's vision of Dr. It was György Páros, whom he considered a great artist of harmonious unification.
