He was a chess composer who was blessed with very extraordinary talent.

His name was rightly mentioned as one of the best in the world. One of the creators of the "Magyar Sakkfeldavány Anthology - 1939". At the age of 30, he was at the top of the very strong group of Hungarian chess authors, even in international comparison.

In his short life he created around 600 masterpieces. He recognized Gyula as his teacher. He dealt with all branches of puzzle poetry. He liked the modern two -stage complex.

He testified and proved that the double threat enables the development of great success. At the same time, you had to expect the danger of premonition, especially when processing direct two.

His concern was understandable when he implemented an idea that he thought was original. Hadn't someone already developed the idea before him.

Dr. László Lindner, the co-author of Sándor Boros in the creation of the "Hungarian chess tasks anthology-1939", writes in the introduction of the "new Hungarian chess tasks-anthology-1979"-to commemorate the victims of fascism, among other things:

"I think I can see the bitter smile of little Sanyi Boros:"- do you think you really haven't done that yet? "

The posterity confirmed the originality of the ideas of Boros. With his works, he inspired many domestic and foreign authors to further develop his ideas.

The work of Sándor Boros was reported in 1929 in the "Evening Standard", in 1930 in the "Problem Gallery", in 1933 in the "Xadrex Brasiliero" and in 1935 in the "Limburgsch Dagblad".

He also published some specialist articles on puzzle theory. In 1931, "Schwalbe" published his study on the Schór topic. From 1936 he headed the puzzle department of "Munkásskakk".

Success as chess player

From 1928 he took first place in Budapest's decipher. As a practical player, he achieved the championship title.

In 1937 László Tóth published 100 selected puzzles by Sándor Boros. In 1942, almost his entire work appeared in his own edition, with selected games and puzzles.
