A 10-year civilian employee of the Manhattan Beach Police Department was killed in Sunday’s mass shooting in Las Vegas and an off-duty officer was shot and wounded, police said.

Rachael Parker, 33, a records technician, was shot during the Route 91 Harvest festival and died in a hospital, according to a news release. Records show she lived in Long Beach, and her family resides in Spokane, Washington.

“She was employed with the Manhattan Beach Police Department for 10 years and will be greatly missed,” the department said.
