Víctor Barrio (29 May 1987 – 9 July 2016) was a Spanish bullfighter.

He was killed when he was gored by a bull on live television. He was the first bullfighter to be killed in Spain since 1985. Barrio was a top Spanish bullfighter who had won numerous awards. He died in the Spanish bullfighting festival when he fought a bull. There was a gust of wind and the cape was blown and the bull had the chance to strike him.

The bull used its horns to hit his heart a few times. He was transported to hospital but he died almost instantly as the horns pierced his heart. Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy paid tributes to him. Meanwhile, the festival was shortened after the attack. Barrio's wife, who was at the scene, was devastated by the tragedy.
