When Horace Astley was born in April 1927, his father, William, was 31 and his mother, Jane, was 28. He married Cynthia Dean in January 1955. They had four children in 10 years. He died in 2019 at the age of 92. He lived in 18 Worsley Ave Blackpool, Lancaster, Lancashire, England, in 1975.
