Harry Ernest Sanders was born in 03 February 1882, in Battersea.
He was a son of George B. Sanders and his wife Elizabeth (nee Johnson, born 1852 Stanway).
Amongst his many cousins were Agnes, Daisy, Claude, Edgar, Ethelbert and Roland Johnson.
All the aforementioned were grand-children of Robert Johnson, born 1823 Lexden, Essex, England. On 10 February 1906, he married Alice Maud Sedge in Battersea, London.
Harry was Rifleman R/31476 of the 7th Bn., Kings Royal Rifle Corps - he died on 21 March 1918, aged 36.
