Frederick James Webber was my grandfather's first cousin. He was a gunner in the Royal Garrison Artillery. His parents were Charles and Mary Webber of Newton Abbot, Devon, England. He died in his home in Newton Abbot from sickness incurred on the Western Front. He is commemorated by the Commonwealth Grave Commission in Wolborough cemetery, St. Mary's Church, Newton Abbot. Two of his brothers also fought in the war.
