Kpt. żand. Stefan SORDYL s. Franciszka i Marii z Buzów, ur. 3 X 1897 w Brzezince, pow. wadowicki. Podczas wojny polsko-bolszewickiej dowodził plutonem na froncie galicyjskim. Od 1922 nieprzerwanie pełnił służbę w 9 dyonie żand. Awansowany do stopnia kpt. ze starsz. 1 I 1932. Odznaczony SKZ.
