     As a photographer:

Event photography, wedding photography, portrait photography and family photography. Helmut Meister was also the curator of an exhibition at the Berchtoldvilla and regularly presented his own work at various exhibitions throughout Austria. His photographs were characterised by a beautiful aesthetic.

Helmut Meister had owned a Nikon D300 (digital single-lens reflex camera). His Nikon D300 did not yet have a video function.

Life in Salzburg

He lived with his wife Dagmar Meister at Vogelweiderstraße 37, 5020 Salzburg. On the top floor. He had his own photo studio not far from his flat. He was full of ideas. Dagmar, his wife, once said that he had all the ideas and she (Dagmar) realised them. Helmut Meister was also known for his humour and self-irony, which he retained until the end of his life.

 The photo artist Helmut Meister died on Monday 16 March at the age of 54 as a result of his cancer (lung cancer).

His mother's name was Traudl. His sister Gudrun (with son Konstantin) visited him regularly. 

Crematorium: was at 15.00 on 07.04.2015 at the Salzburg Communal Cemetery.
