Chessplayer and Chess composer of problems endgame studies

Josef Cumpe was Vladimir Pachman's great-uncle.

His book "Žertem doopravdy" was published in 1941 and can be downloaded. Miroslav Soukup's homage "Josef Cumpe - Věrný Čech" (1943) can be downloaded also.
