Dzimis Valkas pagastā, miris Bostonā, ASV.
1929 beidzis Latvijas Universitāti, rentgena kabineta vadītājs Rīgas kara slimnīcā. Jelgavā nodibinājis savu rentgena laboratoriju. Latvijas slimo kasu kontrolārsts.
1944 ar ģimeni dodas bēgļu gaitās uz Vāciju, kur bija mācībspēks Pinebergas universitātē.
1951 emigrē uz ASV, dzīvo Bostonā. Ņuhempširas Konkordas slimnīcā Arvīds Zerviņš bija vecākais rentgenologs, bet sieva Alma Alīse ginekoloģe.
