Romualdas Rakauskas (August 19, 1941 in Akmenė - September 15, 2021) - photojournalist, member of the Lithuanian Photographic Artists' Union, collaborator of the weekly Nemunas. Honorary member of the International Federation of Artistic Photography (FIAP). Actively organized personal and participated in group art photography exhibitions.
Biography
1959 graduated from Pikeliai Secondary School in 1959–1962. studied journalism at Vilnius University.
1961–1963 worked as a photo correspondent in the weekly "Literature and Art", 1963–1967. - in the magazine "Mūsų nature". From 1967 to 2004 Editor of the illustrations section of the magazine Nemunas, since 2004. - Collaborator of the weekly "Nemunas".
Since 1970 belonged to the Lithuanian Photographic Artists' Union, since 1976. was an honorary member of the International Federation of Artistic Photography (FIAP).
Wife Dalia (b. 1947), daughters Eglė (b. 1967) and Lina (b. 1971).
