One dead, four wounded in Texas
One woman was killed and four others were wounded early Sunday in two separate shooting incidents in Austin, the capital city of the southern U.S. state of Texas, emergency official said.
A woman in her 30s was shot dead in the Sixth Street entertainment district in downtown Austin, the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS) agency said on its twitter account.
Two other females and one male with gunshot wounds were taken to hospital, and a fourth person who was also injured refused medical treatment, according to the ATCEMS posts.
