Mass shooting in Copenhagen conference, where Lars Vilks participated, 1 shot dead reported
At the "Art, Blasphemy and Freedom of Expression" (Danish: Kunst, blasfemi og ytringsfrihed) seminar, which was organized by the Lars Vilks Committee at the Krudttønden cultural centre at Østerfælled Torv in the Østerbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark on 14 February 2015, automatic gunfire left one spectator dead and three police officers wounded. Two of the officers were bodyguards belonging to the Danish Security and Intelligence Service. At least 30 bullet holes were visible in the window of the centre, a popular location known for jazz concerts.
Participants attending the event included the French Ambassador François Zimeray, FEMEN activist Inna Shevchenko, editor at Dagbladet Information Niels Ivar Larsen, and organizer Helle Merete Brix, the latter describing the attack as targeted at Vilks.
After the attack, the suspect hijacked and fled in a dark-colored Volkswagen Polo. Police warned potential eyewitnesses to contact them directly without approaching the vehicle.
The car was later found abandoned a few kilometres away

Police initially said there were two gunmen at the cultural center but later said they believed there was only one shooter. They described him as 25 to 30 years old with an athletic build and carrying a black automatic weapon.

Der blev i dag kort før kl. 1600 skudt ved adressen, Krudttønden, Østerbro, København.
Efter skyderiet flygtede gerningsmændene i en mørk VW Polo, med registreringsnummer, AT 25919 ad Jagtvej.
Hvis nogen ser køretøjet skal man kontakte politiet på 112.
Man skal ikke selv forsøge at tage kontakt til hverken køretøjet eller føreren.
Politiet har for nuværende ikke yderligere kommentarer til sagen, men vender tilbage med en ny pressemeddelse..
