Former male, now Alana McLaughlin (38, USA), a transgender MMA fighter, won his debut via choke hold against rival Celine Provost (35 years old, France) in the second round on Friday, September 10 evening. The fight took place at the Combate Global qualifiers in Miami.

McLaughlin was born male and became the first wrestler since 2014 to compete in professional MMA competition.

Before the fight, the 38-year-old creature, wishing to be a woman, underwent a series of medical tests, including one that proves that the body has the right level of hormones.

Prior to that, Fallon Fox made history as the first openly transgender fighter back in 2014, and she was a supporter of McLaughlin's victory.

McLaughlin is a former US Army Special Forces member who paid tribute to Fox in her post-fight interview, claiming she was following in her footsteps.

The organizers admitted that it was very difficult to find a rival willing to enter such a fight.

As you can see from the attached video, Celine Provost is three years younger and taller. During the first round, this gave her a number of advantages - she was much more accurate and technical. McLaughlin was notable for the heavy strikes characteristic of a man in execution technique. By the end of the first round, it was clear that physically Provost was "not pulling" - all her precise punches did not cause any damage to McLaughlin, and physical fatigue was obvious.
