Valdis Vipulis, 82, of Bluffton, SC passed away on April 9, 2017 at his home. Mr. Vipulis was born on November 13, 1934 in Daugavpils, Latvia, the son of the late Emils Vipulis and Marta Krastins Vipulis.
Mr. Vipulis moved to Bluffton in 1998 from Cold Spring, New York with his beloved wife, Vaida Vipulis who predeceased him in death. He was a naturalized citizen of the United States; owner of Dana Construction, Inc.; and a US Army veteran.
Mr. Vipulis is survived by his daughter, Donna V. Lacis (Edmunds) of Hong Kong, China; son, John V. Vipulis (Lisa Jaime) of Las Vegas, NV; and two grandchildren, John Martin Vipulis and Bruno Karlis Vipulis. He was predeceased by his brother, Uldis Vipulis.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, April 24, 2017 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC.
