MINTZ TZVI (ZHOKA) SOLOMONOVITCH, 1919, Riga. Member of "Beitar". Graduated Architect. Faculty of Univ. of Latvia. Worked as architect 1938-1941. Since Nov. 1942 - Art. batt. gunlayer (1 S.L.R.R.R), later sen. serg. in 125 Gu Rifle reg. 43 Gu Lat. Rifle div., later military topographer. Wounded in Kurland (Kurzeme) in 1944. Decorated with "Red Star", "Patriotic War" II Degree Order, medals. After war worked in Riga at speciality. Winner of various competitions (prize for Salaspils Memorial, 1905 Revolution Monument). Inportant architectural projects: Writers' House in Yurmala, Railway Station of Riga. Since 1977 lives in Israel. Collaborating with REKA Radiostation, working as guide in Jerusalem and abroad.
