HERTSENBERG PERETS MEYEROVITCH, 6.11.1919, Harkov, lived in Riga. Graduat. German school. Called-up to the army, but got typhus and did not join the front; graduat. the Inst. in Moscow; engineer. Came to Riga in 1947, tried to leave for Palestine ; arrested and sent to Gulag for 10 years, zion prisoner. After liberation worked in Riga in Academy of Sciences.In Israel since 1974. Died there 6.12.1989. His brother Hertsenberg "VOVKA" killed at the front.
