Norbert was born to Frydryka Weissberg Aleksandrowicz and Alexander Akelsandrowicz in Vienna, Austria. He had a twin sister, Irena and an older sister, Lidia.

The details of Norbert's life are unkinown, except during the Nazi occupation of Stanislawow, Poland, Norbert was hidden by the family of Lucas Nadowski.

At the end of the war, with his entire family murdered, Norbert was re-settled in Klodzko, where he lived out his life. He was a banker and described as a "good and friendly" man.

Norbert's mother's family (Weissberg) lived in Stanislawow. His grandfather, Meir Weissberg was a noted Judaic scholar and taught school in Stanislawow.

Meir Weissberg was the great uncle of my father, Hermann Diamant.

My father's mother (my grandmother) was the daughter of Selig Weissberg, who was Meir Weissberg's brother. I am hopeful, that over time, I will know more about Norbert, his family and life.
