BIRK LEV (ARYE) BENYAMINOVITCH, 1921, Ilukste. In 1938 emigrated to Palestine. Was member of "Hagana" till 1948, later in Israeli Army ranks. Demobilized being Major. Died in 1981. His younger brother BENYAMIN fought in the Latv. Rifle div. during WW II, war invalid; after the war - in Daugavpils (Latvia). Died in Riga.
