MEYEROVITCH LEIB MOYSHEVITCH, 3.1.1909, Riga. Senior Lieut., Comm. of Platoon of 43 Latv. Rifle Div.; fought near Staraya Russa. Later in another units fought near Berlin. He tried to go illegally to Palestine, was arrested and sent to gulag for 8 y. After being released, worked as a tinman in Tukums. Lives in Israel since 1969. Died. [pic]
