KASEL LEIB, Riga. Before the war worked on textile factory, Komsomol member. Participated in battles during retreat from Estonia and Leningrad; later served in 201 Lat.Rifle div., twice wounded. Served in the 1 partisan brigade, as a commander of the staff. Made reids to the rear of the enemy lines in occupied Latvia. Survived, lived in Riga. Died 1980.
