STAROBIN KALMAN-KAMA MOYSEEVITCH, 24.05.1924, Riga. Partic. in anti-fascist movem.; at the beginning of the war he was sent into a reconnaissance school in Bologoye. They were thrown into the rear of the enemy.Nearly all these members of diversion groups (there were also Jewish youths) perished in the air. Kama was sent into military unit #5369, from there into the rear of the enemy, severely wounded, but after some time he returned into the fighting order. Order "Glory" 3 degree. After the first injury on 10.12.1942 he was fighting in a special reconnaissance detachment of the 43 Gu Lat. Rifle div. Soon he flew again into the rear, was wounded once more. After the war he graduated the jurid. Faculty of LU and worked as a lawyer and prosecutor. Died 27.09.1980 in Riga. [pic]
