Jane Dayus born in Hallam Hospital West Bromwich resided at 14 St Paul's Road Wednesbury until aged 7.  Attended Crewe Road School and King Charles Junior school Bentley. 
Mother Doreen (Barlow) Dayus and Father Neville Desmond Dayus.  
brother Jonathan Harvey Dayus born 1964. 
Jane attended Darlaston Grammar School 1969-76. 
attained 8 o levels and 3 A levels.  
Moved to Parklands Gardens in 1977 and worked at Intercoat Paints, Bridegeman St Walsall until July 1979 when fire destroyed the company.  
Jane met John Frederick Hinch in August 1977 and were married on 18th July 1987 in Lichfield Cathedral with Lord Patrick Lichfield who was their photographer.
1979 Jane worked at West Midlands Press, and then in 1981 was recruited by Philip Morris International as a salesman in the Birmingham area. She was promoted to Key accounts, through to National Accounts, spent time as a Regional Manager and became National Drive Team Sales Training Manager for Marlboro/ Raffles team.  
In  79/1980 she won the beauty titles of Miss Walsall, Miss West Midlands, Miss 18+, Darlaston Carnival Queen, Bloxwich Carnival Queen, Sandwell Firebird Queen and finally Lichfield Greenhill Bower Queen aged 20. 
In 1985 Jane and John moved fo Selwyn House, The Close, Lichfield and Jane became very involved with the Cathedral, taking up duties of an Acolyte.  She has now volunteered for 38 years in various roles at the Cathedral.  
A keen photographer, pistol shooter and accomplished horse woman, Jane has embraced and achieved many accolades. 
She became a Toastmaster and Celebrant for Weddings in 1995 and the first Lay Funeral Celebrant licensed by the Bishop of Lichfield in 2018.
