TUMARKIN ILYA, 1908, Smolensk, lived in Riga. One of the oldest members of "Beitar". Since 1928 in Palestine. From 1938 member of "Etzel" organization. Fought for the independence of Israel. Arrested by the British Authorities and was deported to the c/camp in Kenya. Returned in 1945. Died in 1984.
