MIHELSON ELIEZER (LAZAR - "LYOLYA") SHMUELEVITCH, 17.11.1925, Riga. In 1943 volunt. on the front. Was command, assist, in Anti-Aircraft Artillery corp. on II and III Baltic fronts. Was shell-shocked. Decorated many times. After war grad. from Univ. of Latvia Hydrotechnic Building Faculty. Worked at various building enterprises (Rigas Embankment etc.). Since 1990 lived in Israel. Died at 25.8.2001. His wife ADA SVETLOVA is singer well-known for her interpretations of Jewish songs in Latvia.
