Dafne Nieveen was returning home to Perth when she boarded the ill-fated Kuala Lumpur-bound service on Thursday night (WA time).
Ms Nieveen, who is understood to have been travelling alone, has a Dutch partner living in Perth.
She works at LanguageOne, an organisation with “a broad educational program that conforms closely to the Dutch curriculum”, its website says.
Speaking from Amsterdam on Saturday, LanguageOne Perth coordinator Wilna Cornelisse confirmed Ms Nieveen boarded Flight MH17
