ALTGAUZEN BORIS DAVIDOVITCH, 14.12.1921, Ludza. Submachine gunner company 121 GU Rifle reg. 43 GU Lat. Rifle div. near Star. Russa and Nasva, then in the 3rd bat. PTR; 17.01.1944 severely wounded, war inv. Awarded. After the war worked in Ludza; in Israel since 1997. His mother was killed during the fasc. occupation, two brothers ITZKHAK-YAKOB and YOSEF perished in the ranks of resistance in Riga ghetto; 3 brothers went to Brazil before the war, brother Noson-Faitl was deported to Siberia on 14.06.1941 and shot in prison in April 1942.
