YARIV ARON ("ARELE") (in Latvia - RABINOVITCH HARRY), 20.12.1920, Moscow, lived and studied in Liepaya. In 1933 left ещ Palestine, studied agriculture. Left for Palestine. During WWII fought in the British Army, transported the Holocaust survivors from Europe. Fought in the War of Independence of Israel, became general-major and head of the Israel Intelligence Service. Later - diplomat and member of Israeli Parliament (Knesset).
