Andrey Simonov was a Russian Ground Forces major general (one-star rank). Chief of the EW (electronic warfare) Troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Biography
Andrei Dmitrievich Simonov was born on June 29, 1966 in the village of Baranovka, Verkhnekamsky district, Kirov region. In 1987 he graduated from the Tomsk Higher Military Command School of Communications. Served in EW. In 2000 he graduated from the Military Academy named after M. V. Frunze, and in 2010 he graduated from the Military Academy of the General Staff. Since 2014, he has been Deputy Chief of the EW Troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation
