MARKOVNIKOV ANATOLIY IZRAILEVITCH, 21.8.1919, Riga. Graduate of industrial school, worked at "Kaya" factory; particip. in antifasc. movement, polit. prisoner. From the beginning of war fought in Army, particip. in liberation of Riga; after war - graduate of Electrotechnical College, worked at "Latvenergo" and Rigas Aditajs" plants. Since 1981 lived in Israel, then emigr. to Switzerland. Brother MICHAIL killed at front in Civil war in Spain, brother SAVELIY - war invalid. Died.
