GINTZBURG ALEXANDER, "ISAY", 17.08.1909, Riga. Very active in revolutionary movement, 8 times arrested. In Spain from 1936; lieutenant, political commissar of the "Massarik" International brigade. Killed 17.04.1938 at the Aragon front near the town Morelya. His wife FRIDA also fought in Spain; later in resistance movement in c/camp in Belgium; perished there. [pic]
