SHALIT ABRAM SHENDEROVITH, 3.10.1908, Riga. Medical Services' doctor in the Civil War in Spain from 1937; lieutenant in "Paris Commune" bat-n, 14 Interbrigade, since May 1937 in rear hospital; in Sept. 1939 returned to Riga. In WWII - doctor in regiments and hospitals at the North-Western and Voronezh fronts. After war - in Riga; doctor and teacher in RMI; arrested in 1951; in Moscow prison till 1953, after the rehabilitation returned to Riga, worked as doctor. Died 10.01.1985.
